Commitment to Diversity

MCH embraces a culture of diversity, and strives to provide an inclusive environment where children and families feel safe and free to be themselves. We are committed to building a student body that reflects the diversity of the San Francisco Bay Area. To this end, we welcome and embrace families of all races, ethnicities, national origins, religious beliefs, genders, disabilities, sexual orientations, family compositions or socio-economic status.

MCH has a thriving Diversity Committee that helps define and coordinate the school’s diversity initiatives, which include parent and staff workshops and fundraising events for the school’s Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).

We encourage our parents to join classrooms during Circle Time to share their family customs, heritage, religious traditions and experiences in other cultures and countries. We also host an annual Diversity Potluck dinner, where parents enjoy an eclectic mix of food and drink from various countries around the world, as represented by our families.
