Commitment to Inclusion
MCH embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion and is an environment where children and families feel safe and free to be themselves. Our student body reflects the diversity of the Bay Area. We welcome families of all races, ethnicities, national origins, religious beliefs, genders, disabilities, sexual orientations, family compositions and socio-economic status.
Each year parents join the classroom to share their family customs, heritage, religious traditions, and experiences. We host Parent Forums focusing on specific topics including gender, race, identity, and tolerance and host an annual Diversity and Inclusion Potluck dinner, where parents enjoy an eclectic mix of food and drink from various countries around the world, as represented by our families.
